Joseph C. Howe age 77 from Mt Pleasant, formally of Remus and Mason, Mi passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at The Laurels in Mt Pleasant, Mi from a long battle of cancer surrounded by family.

He was born in Mason, Mi to Ray C. Howe Sr and Amanda (Donald) Howe on October 27, 1942.
He was in the Army before he married Deanna I. Howe (Dean) on July 10, 1965.
They had two children JoDee Howe–Jordan and Heidi Howe.
They had three grandsons, and five granddaughters and one very special great-grandson, Maximus.
He worked for Cashway Lumber and Erb Lumber in Mt. Pleasant for many years and then Dent Refuse in Remus, Mi until he retired.
He had a love for antique cars, Country music, yard sales, flea markets, motorcycles, and going to the casino.

He is survived by his daughters JoDee (Jerry) Howe-Jordan and Heidi Howe both of Mt Pleasant, Mi, his grandchildren, 2 step-grandsons, and one great-grandson, Max, two brothers Ray C. Howe Jr and Jim Howe both from Lansing, Mi and Alice Hulsebos from Nashville, Mi.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Deanna Howe, both parents, brothers Robert Howe, Loren Fineout (Buster), sisters Dorothy (Howe) Garcia and Loretta Wade.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at a later date this spring and burial will take place at Broomfield Township Cemetary, next to his loving wife.
