Mr. Clarence Orum was born to the late Mrs. Bessie Orum Elsberry on January 7, 1949, in Montgomery Alabama. Clarence was the third of six children. Clarence was married to Clemmie Williams Orum. To this union were born 3 children; Lorenzo, Veronica, and Claretta Orum.

Clarence was a 1968 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Montgomery, Alabama. Clarence was employed and retired from both Rheem and Webster industries. He loved music, and could really sing… to his family, he was our very own “Smokey Robinson”.

Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Clemmie Orum, daughter Veronica Orum McCall, parents Bessie Elsberry and Sam Lusane; sister Dorothy Anderson Baldwin, and brother Willie Lusane.

Clarence leaves to cherish his memories, children; Lorenzo (Tracy) Orum and Claretta Orum-Johnson. Sisters; Velma Orum-Davis, Georgia-Orum (Eric) Baldwin, Annette Orum-Hall, and Ruth Elaine (James) Pawnell, brother; Henry (Ethel) Orum, sisters-in-law; Mary (Lewis) Williams of Newark, New Jersey, Carol Walker of Dora, AL; Pauline Bennett of Sipsey, AL; brother-in-laws Eddie (Yvonne) Bennett of Columbus, NJ; Robert Lewis Jr. of Hamilton, AL, John Williams Jr., of Moultrie, GA, grandchildren; Patrice Combs-Orum of Wetumpka, AL; Michael McCall, Mya McCall, Asyia Orum, Eric Johnson Jr., Braylon Orum, one great-grandchild Rileigh McCall all of Montgomery, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
