Obituary for Willie Frank Calhoun
Willie Frank Calhoun was born on February 3, 1961 to Sarah Gosha and the late Johnny Ballard. He grew up on King Hill with his Aunt Rosa Calhoun and uncle the late John Calhoun. He attended Robert E. Lee High School and later join the band as a drummer. He worked for several businesses but was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix just about anything. Those that knew him wel knew he was the best DJ around town. He was a die heart Auburn Tiger Fan and loved to watch football.
Willie was united in holy matrimony on April 6, 1987 to Debra K. Spencer to where three children were born.
He was preceded in death by three brothers Sydney Hamilton, James Hamilton, Lorenzo Gosha, one uncle John Calhoun and other relatives.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 31 years Debra S. Calhoun of Montgomery, AL; three beautiful children, JaQuanta (Brandon) Smith of Prattville, AL; Sydney (Erica) Calhoun of Tuscaloosa, AL; Shakenya (Jason) Calhoun of Montgomery, AL; eleven beautiful grandchildren who he loved unconditionally, Jermyius, Kha’Mari, Javoriah, Ah’Mari, Javoris Jr., Jah’Kari, Sy’Niyah, Sydney Jr., Jacorian, Aaden, J’Soniyah, four sisters, Odel Griego, Robbie Hamilton, Ageline Hamilton, Jennifer Gosha all of Montgomery, AL; four brothers, Joseph Hamilton of Denison, TX; Larry Hamilton, Eddie Hamilton, Timothy Gosha of Montgomery, AL; two uncles, Aaron (Annie Carol) Hamilton of Montgomery, AL; Alphonso (Pearl) Hamilton of Powder Spring, GA; a loving mother-in-law Sarah Spencer of Boligee, AL; six sister-in-laws, Carrie, Sarah, Doretha, Barbara, Fannie and Minnie, seven brother-in-laws, luther, Manderson, James, Leon, Alphoso, Curtis, Vincent, special cousin, William Tolliver, Yolanda Hawkins, James Hamilton, a special friend David Peterson, a host of nieces, ephews, other relatives ad friends.
