Obituary for Jessie Mae Howard Hamilton

Was born on February 14, 1937 in Montgomery, AL to the late Vandiver Howard Sr. and Mattie Mae Miles Howard. She married the late Wilburt James Hamilton, Sr. on March 14, 1955. At a young age she joined Branch Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor M.G. Bostick where she faithfully served.
She leaves to cherish devoted sons; Robert Hamilton, Sr. Wilbert James Hamilton, Jr. Roy (Beverly) Hamilton proceded her in death James Hamilton , Alonzo (Angela) Hamilton, Whitt (Bettie) Hamilton, and Larry Hamilton, devoted daughters; Deliose (David) Gibson, Sharon Morgan, Betty Hamilton all of Montgomery, AL Darlene (Ronnie) Daniels, Tampa, FL. devoted sisters and brothers; Lou Ella Washington, Vandiver Howard, Jr., Bobby Jean (Charles) Watkins, Betty Slaughter, and Randy Gilchrist all of Montgomery, AL, Mary Frances (Richard) Ware, Boston, MA, Jimmy Howard, Phillip (Annie Mae) Howard, Johnnie (Soleman) Ware, Bobby Ann Anderson, Helen (Cleve) Robinson all of Detroit, MI. brothers-in-law; John (Ellouise) Pennington, Troy, AL, and James Pennington, sister-in-law Glida Robinson, thirty grandchildren, a very devoted grandson; Roy Lewis, South Carolina a host of great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, a very special devoted friends Helen Rodgers, Helen Milliner.
