Obituary for Clemmie M Orum

Mrs. Clemmie M. Orum went home to live with God on June 14, 2012. Clemmie, the fourth of eight children of the late Robert and Maxine Lewis, was born on May 10, 1946, in Charleston, South Carolina. She was a 1964 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Montgomery, Alabama. Mrs. Orum worked for Montgomery Public Schools and then became a longtime employee of Tri-Rivers Federal Credit Union.
CLEMMIE was a loyal and devoted member of New Life Church of God in Christ and served faithfully until her untimely demise. She was a joy to her family and to all of those who knew her. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Mrs. Orum was preceded in death by her special and loving father John Williams; sister, Eddie Mae Clark; and daughter, Veronica E. (Michael) McCall.
She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Clarence Orum, loving son, Lorenzo (Tracy) Orum ; devoted daughter, Claretta Y. Johnson, and caring and special mother, Margaret Williams all of Montgomery, AL; brothers, Eddie (Yvonne) Bennett of Columbus, NJ; Richard (Pauline) Bennett and Charles (Jo Ann) Lewis of Sipsey, AL; Robert Lewis, Jr. Hamilton, AL; and John Williams, Jr. Moultrie, GA; sisters, Mary (Lewis) Williams Newark, NJ; Carol Walker Dora, AL; and Barbara (Eddie) Barnes, Montgomery, AL; sisters and brother-n-law, Georgia (Eric) Baldwin, Velma Orum (N.D.) Davis, Annette Hall, and Henry (Ethal) Orum all of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Patrice Combs-Orum, Wetumpka, AL; Michael McCall, Mya McCall, Asyia Orum, Eric Johnson, Jr., and Braylon Orum all of Montgomery, AL; three faithful friends Catherine Andrews, Deloris Bryson, and Ida Walker all of Montgomery, AL and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
