Louise Reuben Weeks Franklin was born April 2, 1945 in Camden Alabama. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was baptised in a Holyness Church where she was loyal and dedicated.

She married James Weeks Sr. and birthed 4 beautiful kids, Jenith Weeks, Aletha Weeks, James Weeks, and Jeffery Weeks. Her husband passed and she later married Major Franklin who was the love of her life. Throughout her life she developed a nurtured rich relaionship in all stations of her life. If she could help someone along the way she did. She was a role model and mentor of many and She dedicated her life so her kids could have life. Louise retired from the health care field.

She waas preceded in death by her parents, Albrilton Mendenhall, and Ethel Reuben, her brother, Edward Ingram, and James Edward Gray.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Jenitha Weeks, Aletha Weeks Caldwell, James Weeks, and Jeffery (Bessie) Weeks, sisters: Charlotte Rich of Florida; Claudia Mendenhall, Pastor Naomi Davis, Mary Beasley, Minister Louella Goodwin, Eloise Ingram, all of Birminham, AL; brothers: Leo Mendenhall Sr. (Augusta, Georgia), Henry Gray Jr., Elder George Ralph Gray (Evangelist Cathy Gray) All of Birmingham, AL; son-in-law Curtis Caldwell, 14 grand children, 17 great grand children. A host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
