Curtis Jackson was born to the late Cleveland Jackson Sr. and the late Mary Eliza Jackson on August 26, 1955. He confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and joined New Hope #1 Baptist Church.

Curtis attended DC Wolfe High School. He worked in construction for many years until his health failed him.
Curtis was preceded in death by his brothers Frank Jackson, Cleveland Jackson and Leroy Jackson.

He leaves fond memories to cherish to his devoted children; son, Jason (Cassandra) Jackson of Montgomery AL; two daughters Chanda Jackson-Hawkins and Catrice Harper, both of Montgomery, AL; one brother, Henry Jackson, Shorter, AL; two sisters Lillian L. Sims and Alfreda Jackson-Hooks, both of Shorter, AL; four grandsons Keldric, JaKorey, Jason and Jaylan all of Montgomery, AL. Curtis will be missed by a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
